CALAIS ACTION is a grass roots giving movement, supported by a network of volunteers who aim to provide support to those in Calais and Europe and raise awareness of the growing humanitarian crisis currently occurring.In August 2015 Libby Freeman established the group to support the growing refugee crisis in mainland Europe.  Returning from her first visit to Calais to take donations to 'The Jungle' Libby felt more needed to be done to support the growing refugee crisis and so Calais Action was founded.  


Refugee Transitions
Refugee Transitions is a community-based nonprofit agency serving high-need, low-income refugee, asylee, and immigrant newcomers from over 50 countries. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, RT provides education, family engagement, and community leadership services that help newcomers become self-sufficient and successful in their new communities. A key component of our work over the last 30 years has been fostering cross-cultural relationships between receiving and newcomer communities.

State of Solidarity
An informal network of activists has been built in Europe called "Solidarity Beyond Borders." Independent activists and organisations who want to join up in organising international events such as protests and the  like can contact the team.

American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA)
ANERA is a leading development organization improving the lives of Palestinian refugees and poor families in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon. We reach the region’s most vulnerable people with our health, education and economic development programs and provide humanitarian and emergency relief in times of crisis. With offices throughout the region, ANERA employs more than 90 full-time staff who are locally hired and work with community partners.

The Friends of Waldorf Education
The Friends of Waldorf Education helps you find projects from A-Z or Waldorf schools on the world school list. Furthermore, we are committed to help initiatives that require urgent assistance. Learn about our "Project of the Month" or initiatives currently looking for financial help. Many people are motivated to volunteer. Be it to have a new challenge, to gain new ideas, or just to help others. Already much of the work with refugees is being done by volunteers. The German Ministry for Families has created 10,000 additional places in “Federal Voluntary Service with Refugees”.

Help Refugees 
Help Refugees is a grassroots volunteer organisation that began in North London in the Summer 2015.  They raise funds for food, shelter, clothing, search and rescue and medical aid, as well as supporting long term volunteers and grassroots groups working at the frontline of the crisis in Europe.  They primarily work in Calais (where they are the largest giver of humanitarian aid), Dunkirk, Lesvos, Samos, Macedonia and Syria. They act fast to change lives.  Your donations go directly to the people who need it most. Donations accepted online.  Volunteers welcome.

BOB Foundation 
BOB Foundation Ltd. aims to raise awareness and funds for the education of children in refugee camps around the world. We collaborate with #ResponsibleFashion brands who simply design a T-Shirt, or other fashion apparel and donate the proceeds to the foundation. BOB also has their own line of clothing where 100% of the profits go directly to our BOB Certified Charities and Schools in Lebanon where educational needs are supported such as school fees, books, stationery and uniforms.
